Non-Slip Settle Mat: The Grip-Backed Training Tool

Does your dog slide when the surface underneath isn't solid? The Non-Slip Settle Mat pairs the same recycled ECOPAK™ top your dog already knows with a grip-backed base built to grip. On a boat deck, a paddleboard, a car seat, or a slick training floor, this mat stays put instead of sliding out from under a sit or a stay. Need help on training? Check out our free Settle Mat download or pair it with our hands-free tether leash for settle mat / place training!

Built to Stay Put, Wherever "Place" Needs to Hold

The Non-Slip Settle Mat is for the surfaces where a regular mat slides, floats away, or bunches up under a dog that's working. Same settle cue, same mat, a base that grips.

🛶

Boats, Canoes & Paddleboards

A grip bottom that holds its position on a wet, moving deck, so your dog has a defined spot even when the surface underneath isn't. Channel stitching keeps the top layer flat on an incline instead of bunching up.

🚗

Car Seats & Trunks

Stays in place under braking and turns instead of sliding across the seat or cargo area, so the "place" cue holds for the whole drive.

🎯

Agility & Target Training

A stable base for stationing and target work on gym floors, mats, and other slick training surfaces where footing matters as much as the cue.

🏠

Indoor Training on Hard Floors

Tile, hardwood, and laminate don't hold a standard mat in place once a dog shifts their weight. This one stays where you put it.

🐾

Service Dog & Public Access Training

A consistent, stable place command for handlers working duration and distraction proofing on whatever flooring a public space happens to have.

Place/settle cue practice during public access test prep
A stable base for task work breaks in waiting rooms, exam rooms, and appointments
Consistent footing for SDIT (service dog in training) handlers building duration
